I think smith is worth a deep league stash. He looked good in the preseason. Who knows what mcfadden has left and alf is what he is

No one on the team has said it that I know of. Like Gyno said, it's all speculation. The quote I posted was just an example. I should've made that clear.

That's all I was asking. Just looking for someone to clear it up since I keep seeing it stated as a fact.

The only thing that we know for sure is that they said they were prepping for Morris to be the starter back in September. Gyno posted that link a page or two ago.
But that was a month ago

With the Cowboys at 2-3 and the suspension being inevitable, you'd think he'd be advised to just take it right now instead of shooting themselves in the foot to start next season.

I'm actually thinking the opposite, season isn't lost yet and they need him for this stretch. Theyd be more likely to just take the punishment now if the record were 4-1/5-0.
With that said, some around the team speculate that they whole ordeal has been a cloud over the team and affected their play and they might just want to get it over with now. But this is a Zeke/NFLPA decision, not a Cowboys one.

OT - Fwiw, I’m not going to trade... could never find a trade I was 100% comfortable with.. I bid on McGuire and DMac, so I’m gonna see if one of those guys catches fire

Better to stay put than take a deal that makes your team worse just for the sake of shaking things up

So since zeke is possibly suspended until week 13, the week before our playoffs start, would it be to my advantage to try and trade bell for 2 mid tier rbs such as martin and cja? My only replacements for his absence is dmac (unknown status at this point), thompson and rawls

it would be to your advantage to wait and see what happens with his possible appeal and to see if DMC is a thing. Youll always be able to trade Bell if need be.

So just for kicks I offered Zeke to a guy in my league that has Lamar Miller and he accepted it. I wasn't expecting him to and now I can't help but feel like he knows something I don't.

Why? Zeke is suspended for the next 6 weeks.
