I'd say no. No one loved Calvin more than me 2 years ago. He's just a dude whose injuries keep him down.

I remember 2 or 3 years ago we were debating whether he was a better WR than Jerry Rice.

I did a poor job with the OP, I wanted to know if he was your favorite. I'll always take the field as well.

Calvin Johnson is 100% healthy, and he's being undervalued IMO

I somewhat agree.....but its not like people are passing him over for unproven, shitty WRs. Those tier 1 guys are all close to even, so if you're going to nitpick to break ties, CJ's injuries drop him.

Julio had the foot injury 2 years ago
OBJ has Cruz back, having a rough preseason and is only in his 2nd year
Despite dez's insane numbers there were games where they wouldn't throw him the ball

I have

Brown
Johnson

But I think Johnson has the better year

I have nothing to back this up, just my observation, but I think Calvin is getting a case of alligator arms. I think all those hits are taking a toll on him.

No -I expect him to have a good year, but I expect Ebron to get more targets than last year and Tate to have a good year. He is getting older and had injury issue's last year. Don't get me wrong he is still a great receiver and he could end up as the #1 receiver. Below is how I see fantasy receivers. Of course this is just my opinion.

1. Antonio Brown
2. Dez Bryant
3. Julio Jones
4. Demaryius Thomas
5. Calvin Johnson

As someone said they're all so close

And as it pertains to ADP, Johnson isn't being as undervalued as Peterson was in 2012, it feels like he's something of an afterthought in the WR discussion

not having to spend a number 1 on Johnson was insane to think about before this year

There are some great receivers and many variables so nothing is a lock

I just hear Sirius radio speaking about him in a less than enthusiastic way compared to other top receivers and players

I got him with the 15th pick in my 10 team league. I expect him to bounce back this year but don't think he will be the # 1 WR.

For the value, Golden Tate is a much better pick than taking Megatron anything earlier than mid 2nd IMO
