Keep him, bench him, or drop him.

He has under-performed first 2 weeks but the "experts" keep saying to expect big things.

My other options are Victor Cruz, Dwayne Bowe, Michael Floyd. Or i can drop one of these and pick up Steve Smith, Sr.

Any advice?

I was just about to create a VJax thread.

Fantasy pros project him in overwhelming fashion every single damn week, and he has bitten me in the arse more times than not.

I've benched him. As long as McCown is his QB, he's not gonna do squat

You didn't draft Vjax to drop him after week 2.

He's historically been boom or bust on a weekly basis. Has New HC, new QB, etc.

The fact that Steve smith hasn't been picked up yet is ridiculous.

Same problem in my nfl league.
Don't drop, but bench most weeks or trade.
I am starting him again this week though, cause its a short week going up against a Falcons Defense. He should produce big numbers.

You didn't know what you were drafting if you're thinking about dropping him after 2 weeks

He's still better than those two. Cruz is going to have a rough season with that OL and QB issue in NY

What is with the VJax love???? I don't get it.

I've owned him at least 3 times in the last 5 years. He was great in SD when he had Rivers slinging it to him. He was even good when Freeman was QB in TB. But the last 2 years he just doesn't have a QB that gets him the ball enough.

Regardless of how good a player is, he can't throw himself the ball.

It wasn't directed at you.

I just don't get why every fantasy site in the universe continues to project this guy and rank him so high, considering the fact that he's the only weapon on that team right now with No QB

70+ catches, 1200+ yards, 7+ TDs in each of his two years in Tampa.

I don't "love" V-Jax, but I would take those numbers on my team any year.

Drop D. Bowe, obviously (?)

Right, but he gets all of that in like 5 games and practically disappears in others. The consistency is my concern

NEVER bench VJax. When you draft VJax, you sign up for this.

3 points one week, 2 points the next, 40 the next... and so on.

The instant you bench him, I GUARANTEE he will rip off a 40 point week.

Don't do it.

It's why I don't draft VJax, but you're right about never sitting him.

I have Percy plugged in for him in my flex until he proves me otherwise.

You could hold Vincent Jackson 1 more week

two games vs ATL last season. Could help you get a W this week and allow you to sell high next week

His two biggest games last season were vs ATL. If you arent starting him this week, you may as well get rid of him
