I have Forte and was just offered Rawls and Melvin Gordon for him.

My RBs currently are Hyde, Forte, and Duke Johnson on the bench.

Should I take this trade?

Don't do it. Forte has been the definition of a bell cow thus far and for the foreseeable future. The other guys, especially Gordon, are in a timeshare. Rawls is a question mark at the moment, kind of have to wait and see how Carroll is going to use him and Michael.

I would hang on to Forte.

I was thinking the same thing.

But this same trade 2 weeks ago would have been a no brainer.

I agree, I avoided Forte in all my drafts. I figured with his age he would be splitting time with Powell pretty evenly. Couldn't have been more wrong, though.

As a general rule i never wanna be the guy who is on the receiving end of the 2 in a 2 for one. I wanna be the guy getting one from my two. I favor a top loaded roster over a deep one. I don't wanna have to choose between 2 similar guys each week. Give me the player who is matchup proof.

I agree boom but Rawls can match forte IMO, you get a better play that Gordon then that could be a win. Sell high on forte, he will be good but he did the same thing last year; started hot, cooled off, got hurt etc. Just thinking long term here, he's got mileage that will catch up to him one way or another

Looks like a swingers party at Robert Downey Jr's place and some bitch wanted to try doggy style.

There is no way Forte can keep up this usage. He'll breakdown eventually.

That being said, I think his current value is high enough to get someone else to pair with Rawls than Gordon.

There was a thread on the OT about it a few weeks back. I can't find it. But it is inexplicable.

Update:

He offered this trade again and I think I am going to take it with Danny Woodhead out and Forte having a sore knee already.

Why would you take any trade involving Rawls right now? He has been awful

I'd probably do it. I think Forte will be better than either Rawls or Gordon while he's healthy (key words there), but Gordon is going to be more durable throughout the year (nothing to back that up, just a gut feeling).

Who knows with Rawls, but it's a bench stash to see what happens.

Buying low is a good reason. Hard to see his value getting any lower than it is right now.

Sure it doesn't look like he'll turn things around at this point, but that's why you've got to roll the dice sometimes. It's easy to gamble on a player if you can get him for cheap. Sell high, buy low, win championship.

It seemed to work out this weekend. I wanted Gordon and if Rawls steps up later in the year it's lagniappe.

Forte having a sore knee this early in the season scared me.
