Im stuggling with the idea that Gyno could be awarded a waiver claim and then have it taken away and given to a different team. Situation sucks for someone no matter what is decided.

so is the consensus, we ll wait til the waiver claim is potentially awarded to gyno, and if so we ll just move it to me since I canceled my claim?
and if not, Dwayne will stay in the player pooling cool with that.

Where are you seeing this
I don't expect port to know every minute detail of every rule. Guy is a commish who works for free. In the future don't leave that in the hands of anyone else but yourself, and sort it out after the fact if need be imo

I'm actually just trying to figure out what the consensus is big gyne. I put in a waiver claim, asked the commish, and then followed the protocol.

You said multiple times we would see if the system allowed the add, but you had already changed the setting.

Of course the settings were changed...otherwise you could have picked up free agents too. The season was over. What we were waiting to see is if ESPN would award a claim that was made after transactions ended.

Yeah, that's the point of all of this...his claim was still showing as pending after the settings were changed. That is the only reason this was being considered in the first place (him getting Wade).
When was I supposed to change the settings and let it play out, as you're insinuating didn't happen? If I changed the settings back, he would have been awarded the player no question and there would have been no "playing it out". I really don't think you have a clue about what you're arguing about. I'm not defensive, I'm annoyed.

y'all are reading way too much into this. All I'm saying is maybe since the setting was changed espn wouldn't process the waiver claim Or maybe gyno withdrew his claim..
