The season isn't over at 9am on Sunday. I put the claim in just like i could've added any FA I wanted up until tip off Sunday

I was just confused about the drop part. They seem completely independent of each other.

We always have been able to drop any time we want. Hell...most people drop in september just so we can get an idea of the player pool.

so what's the verdict. I canceled my claim after I talked to port. shouldn't we just decide and either award it or not?

Tbh I did not envision a scenario where he would not be allowed to be claimed based on the rules

the only person that could've claimed ahead of me before season's end is cwill who is checked out. i think it's up to the opinion of the league.

2. I see more scenarios where the ruling can be manipulated if the waiver claim made before the season ends is not awarded
If espn allows it, then bjl should be he one to get him

This is where I'm at.
Transactions are disabled for when our season is over. If I put a Sunday waiver claim in during Week 8, it counts as a week 9 transaction.

I don't see how anything is being manipulated
If ESPN allows a player to be claimed in the last week of the season from this year to eternity they should be allowed to be claimed. Players locked at noon yesterday when the Pels tipped, the ability to claim player was officially over
If anything, this tells us don't drop keepable players on the last day of the season if you don't want them claimed

Nothing is being manipulated now. ....i see scenarios where manipulation is possible though

Yeah, I agree with all of that homie. I dropped Wade and part of it was because I figured he would be in the draft. Karma did mention picking up Wade and I told him he was not available to be picked up. Like Toula said, the transaction would be counted this week, not Sunday. If ESPN allows it to go through, then we know going forward you can be awarded a claim as long as it's made before the season ends.

The act of the claim comes in a legal window though
Say waivers process in 1 hour instead of two days. You claim a guy at 10am on Sunday and it processes at 11am? Idk. I think the process date is semantics
