it might come to that. but i like the idea of evolution. we'll see if people are willing to change.
the NBA absorbed the ABA so there's a way this can be done. teams were bought out. negotiations were had. let's see if we can do it.

That's part of the issue no one wants to talk about : owners
The only brigade of solid owners that were the backbone of all these leagues has been cut in half.
The new crop is these shithead millennials who don't know dick and are more worried about clever team names, creative ways to come up with a draft order, what to make the loser of a league do etc
In the end ya need is:
A solid foundation/format
75% good owners
Look at TDBL. League has tons of man hours put into it to come up with rules and format. You got a bunch of owners who check out and now it's a crap league
This league has good owners but a crap format. It can be good again w a different format
