I heard a few giggles when I picked him first (picked 3rd overall.) Everybody in my league this year got on the "grab the big time WRs early" kick. My first 3 picks were Johnson, Shady McCoy and Aaron Rodgers. Laughed all the way to the Championship. (It didn't hurt that I was able to trade for Davante Adams and pick up Tyreek Hill.)

I won $1500 this year and a championship. I'd reconsider that statement

Everyone has basically covered the essentials, I'll say this though. FIND A TE because outside Gronkowski, Olsen and Kelce at the end, there was no consistent answer all year. Hell, you can't even count Gronkowski as he missed several games, same goes for Jordan Reed who I will never draft again.

I picked up Rudolph off waivers. In PPR, he was nice.

What is the entry for this league?

How do I get in this thing?

Would love to compete against the board

meh....this is why I won't spend a high round pick on one. The 2 elite ones are injury prone, I'll stream until I find a decent one. If your streamer bombs then its not a huge miss because the guy you're playing is more than likely in a similar boat.

This.

I picked up Ajayi and Rivers off of waivers and was able to pair them with Julio to get Elliot/Rogers/Adams.

That trade let me sneak into the playoffs and then win the league as the 6th seed.

Eh

With a ton of luck, a great draft can carry you into the championship.

Don't even really need a lot of luck I've drafted several teams that have won titles with very very minimal waiver wire help.

I disagree.

Great draft can only get you so far.

Sure a great draft helps, but you have to own the wire usually to win a title.

Of course you can make a sick draft and avoid injury and win, but usually you that is not the case and you are going to have to work the wire.

In my experience of playing this is an anomaly.

Yea bro whatever. I never played a public league in my fantasy career. Just because you don't have the trophy case I have doesn't mean it's not legitimate. Tip your cap and try to get better is what I usually recommend.

Actually won a league starting all guys I drafted save for Chucky Clay, who I had to grab when Eifert went down. No trades either

Yea it def happens. If you really hit on the draft you can not have to rely on the WW for much besides cycling out some defenses and kickers.
