I think once Stills comes back Cooks will get targeted a bit less... I think Graham is still the main target, followed by Colston.....

Once Stills comes back with Colston, Meach, Cooks, Graham, and the fact they have Thomas out of backfield and Graham at TE then Cooks will lose some targets.

I've seen some interesting stuff this week. Some of it could be considered a fluke (Chris Ivory), but I think Cooks is the real deal.

Meachem isn't a factor

Pierre is a factor as a last option. All he caught was dump offs. Meaning they are looking to guys like Cooks first

5 catches a game is pretty reasonable even with Stills coming back. It's almost a lock he gets two quick swing passes a game and being in the slot, he should see at least 4 targets there a game. 80 IMO is very realistically attainable. The Saints throw the ball plenty... there's plenty of targets for everyone.

As long as he gets targets he is a factor and he had 2 targets with Morgan getting 3 targets.... Meach is still someone Brees trust and he will give him an opportunity if he is on the field.

10 players on the Saints had a target as Brees attempted 42 attempts... That won't happen every week and when Stills returns a lot of players will lose targets and I think one will be Cooks. (However I own Cooks in 2 leagues so I won't complain if it doesn't)

Cooks is exactly what this offense needed. Did you see how bad the offense struggled down the stretch when teams took Jimmy out?

Cooks will avg 12+ PPR a week

Meh, Cooks will have some big games but he won't be a consistent Fantasy producer IMO

dude meachem had 16 catches last year, and he'd be lucky to hit that number again. He made the team because of his run blocking.

With that said there are another 100 catches vacated by Sproles & Lance Moore. Cooks gon eat.

with 30 targets, honestly I think that rises this year

Sproles and Moore had 143 targets last year

Still will likely see more than the 51 targets he saw

Ingram will see more than the 11 targets he saw

Watson will see more than the 30 targets he saw

Cadet will see more than the 2 targets he saw

Robinson will see more than the 0 targets he saw

I expect Cooks to see about 80-85 targets this year with 60-70 catches

2 targets and 1 second half reception once the falcons had a chance to tweak their d a little. the other target was an int.

what are you basing that on?

Watson, Meachem, Ingram, Robinson, Cadet, will not be big parts of the passing game.

Brees likes Cooks. Him, Colston, and Graham will get a majority of the the targets, IMO.

I think Stills ends up with more targets than Cooks still.... '

Now will all improve greatly? Maybe not but if each sees 5 more targets and Cadet/Ingram/Robinson see 10+ due to more playing time then that dives into what Sproles/Thomas/Moore had....

I also don't think Brees will throw 650 times again which reduces the targets because I believe Ingram goes off for 1200 yards this year.

I agree and think Stills when back will be in the bottom echelon of targets but in this group. Graham being number one.

Graham, Colston, Stills, Cooks....

So 130, 115, 90, 80 targets *assuming Brees throws less than the 650 times from last year)
