Most points scored in league nowhere near 1st check in

I have the most points scored in the league but the most points scored against and am currently looking at 8th place next week out of 12.

Top 6 scoring teams get a win
Bottom 6 scorers get a loss
Best teams always win, and you get to play and talk shite to 11 other owners instead of 1.
I am in 6 different leagues and spend 70% of my fantasy time on the top 6 league. It's leaps and bounds better than H2H

The same guy has had the lowest points against three years in a row. His shitty team contends for the playoffs because of it. You would think it would even out.

I am enjoying the Top6/Bot6 format this year, even though I'm #3 in points and #8 in standings. Weekly floor/ceiling means even more in this format.
The purest format besides a category roto league, is a straight points league, but it's boring as hell. There is no talking shite because there aren't any matchups.

Same boat, now 4-5, could get into the playoffs if I win out and a couple guys nose dive. 10 team standard.

Most pts, over 100 more than 2nd highest points team. Tied for 2nd place, but have had 200 more pts scored against me than any of the other top 4 teams. Standard scoring, so that's an average of more than 20 pts/game scored against me more than any of the other top 4 teams. And my team has not been under 100 any week this season in standard scoring. Pretty damn ridiculous everyone has their best games against me

#1 team in my league is insane.
I'm virtually a 3 way deadlock for 2nd in scoring. My "defense" is 2nd worst. I'm 7th in the standings.

I would prefer this... but the league I'm in is straight head to head. I have the second most points, but 5-4 in 4th place. Still headed for a playoff spot but a bye would be nice.
If we did top 6/bottom 6 I'd still be 5-4. Too inconsistent it seems, I've been the high scorer in 3/9 weeks so far, and this past week I scored a season-high 162, but one team went nuts for 197.

Between Roethlisberger being so inconsistent with playing and killing Brown and Gurley not getting going until wk 4 while also running into the highest scoring team on a given week and losing while being the 2nd highest scoring team 3 times, I have lost 4 fricking games. Fantasy football is all fricking luck.

I've had the second highest point total each of the last 4 weeks. My record during that time you ask? 0-4.
