I'm currently at 3-1 and 2nd place and have been offered a huge trade by the last place team in the league. Looking at it on paper it seems like a good deal if shady does not regain form. League is 6 pts ALL TDs including qb and. . 25 ppr. 12 team league (leveon was my 3rd Rd keeper)

I'd give Palmer, Bradford, Megatron, shady.

I'd get Rogers, Maclin, Duke, Delaney Walker (filler)

Current roster is
Qb Palmer
RB leveon bell
Wr Megatron
Wr Edelman
Flex ivory
Flex Fitzgerald
TE Gates
D rotates
Kicker rotates

Bench
Spiller
Shady
Bradford
vereen
Jennings(giants rb)

My rationale in doing it would be based on production and not name the difference between Megatron and Maclin wouldn't be as great as having the security of having Rogers in a 6 point league and I have no idea if shady is even going to be worth a shite after week 8 or 9 when he does come back.

Not doing it:his name is still Calvin Johnson and I should have enough at qb with Palmer and when Bradford (if/when Philly offense gets rolling). I have the depth to stash shady if he does return to form for stacked team going into playoffs.

Thanks for any help.

I would do it. Huge upgrade at QB with 6 pt TDs. McCoy is hardly startable for a few weeks at least, if then. I have Maclin on my team and I'm very high on him. Stafford has been garbage.

Maclin has done better than I thought the last couple of weeks, but I still don't expect him to be consistent with Smith throwing him the ball. I fully expect Calvin to be much better than him when the season is all said and done. In this case you would more so be looking at Fitz maintaining value and taking over Mega's wr spot and either Spiller or Duke taking over the flex spot.

On the other hand, as a fellow Shady owner, I'm not sure what to expect from him. He's pretty much looking like a hopeful playoff flier at this point. I think you are probably getting decent value in that trade by trading him now.

I don't know a definite thing to tell you. I think I would lean towards doing it. I do think you might be selling Mega a little low right now. I think I'm leaning towards doing it because although Rodgers isn't that much better than Palmer right now, I view him as a lot less risky going forward, and he will single handedly win you some weeks, especially in 6 pt ptd league.

Yeah wouldn't do that
Palmer is still going to be solid

I'd lean to doing it, but I'd try and pry another wr other than maclin

I'd go and pick up a guy like lafellnow if possible to supplement the wr position

Is this a 1 RB league?

quote:

RB leveon bell
Wr Megatron
Wr Edelman
Flex ivory
Flex Fitzgerald

If so, you'll never play Shady except maybe Le'Veon's bye week.

A.A.Ron is the best player in this trade and will be solid come FF playoffs. Megatron is the 2nd best player that I see here.

But, If you're rolling:
QB A.A.Ron
RB Le'Veon
WR Edelman
WR Fitz
Flex Maclin
Flex Ivory/etc

You're solid. Delanie to back up Gates, Duke to give you extra RB depth, you're looking good IMO.

his wr aren't anything special at the moment. Moncrief, Jordan Matthews, Devante Adams. He went into the season with Matthews as a lat round keeper and thought he could ride with a young wr corps that's hurt him badly so far (that and Lynch underwhelming).

yeah 1 rb, 2 flex. I'm pretty high on Spiller becoming a valuable, consistent flex play with a low floor over the next few weeks. Just don't see how he doesn't catch 6 or 7 passes/week in the Saints offense.

you've pretty much summed up why I'd do it. I'm leaning towards it but I like my team a lot. I only lost in week 3 because I played against a guy who went for 180 and change with Devonta, Cam/Olson, Cardinals D, Charles

I like JMatt > Maclin ROS.

That would be my preference though.

I think you're right. I think there would be more upside as season progresses although I'm ok on Maclin too. I think he's a consistent player who would make a good flex/garbage time hero. He's a huge Eagles fan so I'll see if he'd go for it.

I would do it. It helps diversify your lineup too. If Palmer gets hurt or if the Cardinals lay an egg during FF playoffs, you're screwed with both Palmer and Fitz in your lineup.
