I don't think it's something we can change. I'd assume that if a player is picked up, put into the starting lineup, the game starts, and then the player is subsequently dropped, the rule would still apply, but the player would still accrue scoring for the lineup and the lineup spot would be locked. The player would then bypass waivers and be free for pickup. Transactions are limited and the FA pool is weak enough so its not something owners would do often. What are you wanting the rule to be?

i dont really care either way, but we've always played that a player goes on waivers when dropped.

I believe it's the same setup in SBL/RW3R. I think the motivation for the rule is to prevent owners from cycling through FA players to bunch them up in waivers and potentially buy themselves some evaluation time and box the players out.

The Ryan McCain rule

To prevent streaming, he would pick up like 12 players and drop them minutes later. CBS put them on waivers and not back in the f/a pool. ESPN sets them back as a f/a if they didn't play a game between the add and the drop.

yea i realize that, but am i interpreting the rule in this league as in it doesnt matter if a game is played or not. Just if they are added/dropped within the scoring period?

that's quite different

That's correct.

Checking this option will prevent teams from putting a player on waivers by claiming and dropping him within the same Lineup Period. With this option selected, that player would go straight back to being a free agent, upon being dropped.

I loved it.

If you HATED Saul in BB then maybe it's not for you.

I have loved everything Odenkirk did since his Mr. Show days.

It's a drama, and I think we have similar taste. It's great. It has exceeded my expectations.
