Those guys are mostly owned.
It's possible to strike Hold gold on the wire, just a tough endeavor.
Also looks like 6 of the top 10 hold guys have ERAs over 3. Only 2 of the top save guys.

Because a closer is mainly going to pitch the 9th. Hold guys get called upon to get out of shitty jams and throw multiple innings.

Guys I was able to pickup off waivers last season:
Sergio Romo
Mauricio Cabrera
Edubray Ramos
Ryan Dull
Kyle Barraclough
Brandon Maurer
The point I was trying to make is that you can find talented guys to help in the bullpen on waivers if you try. They may be holds guys, but they count the same as saves.

Yeah you can find holds easier than saves, that is true. They are mainly 1 stat guys other than the 4-5 elite ones, but you are def right that they are easier to find.

Easier to find... but the bulk of them have a higher volatility rate.

Yeah, I probably should have held on to him eh? It's cool. I was able to find guys like that and move some of them for pieces I needed. Value is out there.

I inquired about him before you traded for him. Not really sure he's a step up from what I currently have. I offered Capps in return and he shot me down. Probably for the best. Capps has wicked potential.

Im not hating. I understand the trade value when making a run, but in the offseason, not really. Relivers are so year to year, Barraclough could have a ken giles or brad lidge implosion Shoot, i added Drew Storen and Koda Glover this offseason, both are in line for SV+HLDS.
