In my league the waivers don't start until Sunday for some reason. So you could instantly add stark right now without a claim. My only problem is that my only cuttable player would be Jeremy hill.

Not sure if worth it.

i've got ball and gio so hopefully i'll be ok. I really thought all of them were risks, but they just fell to me and I felt like I needed to take them. I also have jennings. I got Lacy in the 2nd.

Ehh...

First off, Lacy has 10 days to recover from this.

Secondly, if Lacy misses time it will only be 1 game. And the Packers will go back to throwing the ball like they did before they got Lacy. And Starks won't dominate the touches for that 1 game. Packers love DuJuan Harris. He will get his fair share of touches at well.

And, like I said, Lacy will only miss 1 game most likely.

But I do have 2 other guys I can play in Ben Tate and Rashad Jennings.

Feeling like I should have went Lynch or elsewhere @ 7. The less than stellar game against Seattle doesn't bother me as it was pretty much expected. The concussion in week 1 has me stressed; considering his history and running style.

2013 Week 2 vs. redskins:
Starks: 20 carries, 132 yds, 1 td, 4 catches for 36 yds

Lacy sux!

7.5ppr points from a #1 pick?! IDC he was on the road, against the leagues top d, without his starting right tackle, and his team down double digits most of the 2nd half... he should have run for 124 and TWO tds!

the concussion is kind of concerning, tho

and despite the what the broadcast said, he missed two games and ANOTHER GB RB went for 150 yards the next week

and look how lacy finished.

road
GOAT D
down the entire second half
running no huddle (starks is the no huddle back)

he'll be fine.

speaking of that redskins game. Lacy got a concussion on the first play from scrimmage. 10 yard run, concussion. He would have had an enormous game and he'll have plenty of enormous games this year

1 game into week 1 and people are ripping up their strategy because lacy had a shitty game against a defense that made drew brees and peyton manning look like Mike Glennon

on the plus side he doesn't have to face the seattle D

2x niner
2x cards
2x rams

He had a great opening night against a team missing its most important defensive player (B.J. Raji) I was impressed with seattle's playcalling, and their receivers/te but I'm going to reserve judgement because that is one of the weakest run fronts they'll face all year and it's week 1.

Peppers was abused in the run game last night...he looked flat out terrible.

I would laugh at week 1 overreactions but we're only one game through

they didn't keep starks in because he was hot.

Starks get time for one reason:

No huddle

they were used the same way last year. When they're running up and down the field and the defense knows they're passing anyway, they put in starks

Lacy is a perfect Buy-Low candidate now. People always overreact to the first game.

1. he doesnt face Seattle every week. Thats the best defense the league has had in 25 years.

2. GB offense will still be very good as long as Rodgers is on the field. they play in a defensively weak conference and will be in lots of high scoring shoot-outs.

3. mild concussion....who knows? could make him more susceptible to more but that shouldnt affect his performance at all when he's on the field. Not like a lingering injury that will slow him down. but he might miss a week early which makes him an even better buy low. Make sure to get Starks as well.

4. Lacy owner probably getting an L this week and will be frustrated at Lacy.

I drafted a boss team for my best friend who was drafting for his wife...

She dropped Gordon after the dealership news thing came out...now she cannot pick him up because she has to wait a week, he won't be there.

and she's freaking out over lacy. She has Doug Martin, Reggie Bush, Rashad Jennings, MJD and Mark Ingram (I went heavy at RB for a reason)

owners come up with a plan, then they draft, then they kind of plan how to proceed and if all doesn't go perfectly on week 1...start jumping off the ship.

considering the rules, dragging their nuts on peyton manning makes them the GOAT IMO

Have not read anything but the last post, but 2000 Ravens is easily the best defensive I have ever seen.

i agree he is a great buy low candidate if you can pull it off and get him from whoever has him.

but i also dont think it's overreacting to be pissed about your first pick being absolute shite in week 1 and having a concussion concern (which is recurring). a lot of people also probably picked him over marshawn lynch, so it's likely that they are extra frustrated.

pretty sure i read something that another concussion = 3 in 12 months and he can't play under the new protocols. not sure if that was accurate though
