Some idiot is going to give up half his team to get him.

Or are you the idiot for trading him?

I actually don't have him in any league. I'm just curious.

For what? 72 virgins? Original coca cola stock? Unicorn horn? Seriously, if you trade Gronk for anything less you're losing money.

I mean the offer would have to be really good.

Gronk for L. Bell and Calvin?

Yeah sure I'll do that

I know if I had him and if I was in a dynasty league, and somebody hard-up for a TE offered me some ridiculous package, I might have to consider it.

Everybody has a price. I don't see anybody giving up what it would take for me to let him go.

If someone is willing to give up one of their top 4 RBs that has a meh week 1, sure.

I don't have Gronk.

I mean, the law of averages and common sense dictate that he caught 25-30 percent of his touchdowns tonight.

And every league has some idiot that thinks he's going to catch 25 touchdowns after tonight.

His stock is through the roof right now, but will rapidly be declining over the next 3 games so a reasonable trade now gets you a RB1 and WR1, which no player is ever worth alone.

Two other things to consider: the guy has had injury issues in the past, and Belichick is the "smartest guy in the room" kind of coach who would use him just as a decoy for two weeks in a row just to prove that he can win without him.

Yeah, that was my point. Gronk owners right now feel he's the fantasy MVP for the season, which he's not, but some dumb arse will trade the farm to get him.

One of the biggest keys to being successful is treating the game like the stock market. Like picking up a free agent RB that has a fluke 120-yard game and then trading him and a tier-2 QB the next week to a guy who just lost his RB1 for Aaron Rodgers and crap.

Gronkowski is going to get somebody a treasure chest of players if he's smart enough to trade him this week if you find the right sucker.

The biggest issue you're gonna face here is he gives you WR1 numbers and you might have to replace him in your lineup with some guy who's gonna catch 40 passes this year. Is that worth a QB1 and a RB1 and maybe more?

No belicheck actually IS the smartest guy in the room so he knows he needs Gronk to win.

That's why Gronk didn't sniff the field in the preseason

And decoy or not, Brady is giving targets to Gronk
