When you have more relevant players available for pick up because of a scoring format, it puts less importance of hitting in the draft cause you can still frick up and salvage your team quite nicely. Same amount of teams, same NFL players, one scoring format provides more success to those same players makes PPR easier than Standard and gives you more leeway in the draft to mess up compared to standard.

This is just gonna have to be one of those agree to disagree sort of situations. Nobody is gonna change your mind on how you view PPR so this is pointless.

Common sense. Danny Woodhead is not a valuable football player in the NFL, however, when comparing his stats on the surface to other players it would seem he is comparable to them when we all know he is not. He has history for compiling stats that are not reflective of his value to an NFL team. Aka putting up big numbers that have no effect on the outcome of an NFL game. Same with Blake Bortles. A avg at best QB who's numbers when compared to others look very respectable, but in reality they're empty stats.

all of this is shite you've made up in your head. If you care to post some facts, Im open to that.

Blake Bortles btw, was 4th overall player in standard scoring last year.

In fact the first 17 players in overall scoring were QBs. Wooo hoo, that seems like so much fun!

Yes, 17 players outscored Antonio Brown And Julio Jones. Lol. And you want to talk about empty stats.

Holy shite

He led their team in receptions, yards and receiving TDs. 36% of his receptions were on 3rd down. Graded out at the top of pass protection for RBs

Idiotic statement.

The draft isn't the be all, end all of fantasy football.

Ton more you have to nail, with trades, WW, lineup decisions etc.

He was the most effective pass catching RB in the NFL last year with over 200+ yards above replacement. You cannot do any better value-wise than #1.

If you don't nail the draft, yes you have tons of work to do. If you nail the draft, no not so much just put your guys out there and let them do their thing.

Just watch what Woodhead did against the Raiders last year. That was ridiculous.

80 receptions last year

And to think Riddick (<1 yards @ catch) and Allen Robinson (15.3 yards @ catch) both got credited the same amount of points for each catch they made. Yay PPR...

Not saying it is, just saying it should be the biggest factor for team success in fantasy. And in standard, it is.

So you get completely owned on the Woodhead bashing and decide to gloss over that and move on to Riddick, when this
quote:

Riddick forced 36 missed tackles on 80 receptions last year as he finished 2015 with a 99.9 receiving grade, the highest we’ve ever seen from a running back in the NFL in our 10 years of grading. Riddick was tremendous last year, and should once again see a big role in the Lions’ passing offense in 2016.
has already been posted? Do you just pretend like you don't see any information that contradicts your beliefs?

Yes and no. No because you're saying all catches are equal and they are not. To which you'll respond something like "well all TDs aren't equal!" Yeah, which is why there are bonuses. Problem solved.

well, that guy below me beat you too it...

A 1 yard TD and a 50 yard TD are both worth 6 points

But wait, there's more...

The yardage!

Allen Robsinson outscore Riddick by 125 PPR points. It's not like the were close to carrying the same value

What is your point here? In standard, nobody gets a point for a catch so what does all catches not being equal have to do with anything?

Also, if Riddick catches a pass one yard deep and breaks tackles to get 20 yards after it, you honestly consider Robinson catching the ball 20 yards down field and getting tackled immediately the more impressive catch?

unquestionably. lol

because in PPR you get credited as such. which is my issue with PPR. that's the whole point

Down 30-3 against a prevent defense all 2nd half...man good thing they had Woodhead. No one would've been able to do that.
