There's a difference between bold and no chance. Holland is bold; Jeter is no chance.

I didn't get Louie T's instructional guide on how to post a bold prediction before I made mines.

That said, Derek Jeter while on decline, finished 11th in the league in hits in '10 and 20th '11. He also played in 28 less games than Adrian Gonzales. So while he probably won't, it isn't out the realm of possibility... though even minuscule. Therefore making it a bold prediction.

Now if I had gone and said Mark Reynolds was going to winning the AL batting title, then that would be a different story.

1B- Michael Morse's power surge is a 1 year wonder, and he doesn't hit over 20 HRs this year.

agree

Nellie Cruz hits 35 bombs and 120 rbi

Lorenzo Cain approaches 25/25

Brian McCann wins NL MVP

Freddie Freeman will have a better season than Morse, Ike Davis, and Hosmer

Billy Butler, yes Billy Butler, leads KC in home runs

Strasburg mania picks back up

This year will be the end of the Pedro Alvarez experiment, mainly because Hurdle won't give him time to develop.

Johan wins 15 games and cracks the top 25 SP

Mitch Moreland breaks out

Yu Darvish finishes in the top 20 SP

C: Buster Posey is moved from behind plate by end of July

1B: Justin Morneau's concussion issue re-surface forcing him into retirement

2B: Dustin Ackley realizes he is not in the ACC anymore and is demoted to minors by end of June

SS: Jose Reyes stays in headlines as he works towards a 100 SB season. He eventually falls short with 92

3B: A-Rod went to same surgeon that Kobe went to last season. Kobe is in much better shape, and same will go for A-Rod. Mark him down for 45 bombs this season

OF: Matt Kemp gets the big head and comes back to reality. He stills goes 20/20, but that is it.

SP: Greinke has mental breakdown during penant race and has to miss multiple starts for "personal reasons"

RP: Brett Myers shines for Astros and gets dealt to TEX bullpen for stretch run. Feliz doing too well in rotation for Washington to send him back.
