SP - Josh Johnson doesn't get hurt

Now this I could fap to and predicted as well.

C - Napoli proves he was not a second half wonder and goes 300/30/100.

1B - Howard comes back late and only hits 7 homers.

2B - Aaron Hill hit 30 bombs and Kelly Johnson hits 25.

3B - Ryan Roberts is on the waiver wire within a month or two.

SS - Furcal gets his wheels totally back and swipes 30.

OF - Jacoby Ellsbury is not the best fantasy outfielder in Boston and it is not even close.

OF - Hamilton avoids the DL, drugs, and alcohol.

OF - Andre Ethier leads the Dodgers in homers.

SP - Josh Johnson throws 200 innings.

SP - Bumgarner flops (this is my boldest one).

SP - Darvish only is a league average starter this season.

RP - Addison Reed saves 25 games.

1) Matt Wieters is the top fantasy catcher this year and is one of the top offensive producers in the AL.

2) Juan Nicasio and Drew Pomeranz are the top two pitchers for the Rockies this year and both finish in the top 30 pitchers.

3) Cory Luebke has as good of or better of a season than last year.

4) Jason Heyward has a big bounce back season this year and makes the AS team.

5) Justin Smoak makes the AS team as a last minute replacement.

6) Howie Kendrick finishes as the top 2B in fantasy and hits over .300 w/ 28 HRs and over 100 runs.

7) Justin Upton regresses from last year and doesn’t make the AS game.

8) Freddie Freeman is the top 1B in the NL.

9) Ike Davis is a close second.

10) Pablo Sandoval hits over 30 HR.

11) Madison Bumgarner is the top pitcher in the NL.

12) Buster Posey hits less than 20 Hrs.

13) The Dodgers win the NL West.

14) Anthony Rizzo is a top 10 1B in the NL.

15) Matt Thornton holds the closer role for the White Sox all year.

16) Michael Pineda does not pitch in 2012.

17) Cwill wins TDBL and doesn’t start a thread about how much of a fantasy badass he is.

18) Honkus doesn’t finish last in TDBL.

19) Redd has an aneurism when Votto shatters his knee in June and he realizes that a quarter of the Red’s payroll is locked up in him for the next ten years.

20) Bobby Valentine is assassinated by a drunken Red Sox fan in August.

21) Josh Hamilton goes on a booze, coke, and hooker binge and wakes up in a Fort Worth dumpster with a leather mask on his face and a bed post handcuffed to his wrist.

22) McCain quits TDBL and joins an obscure cult known as “The Constitutionalists”.

23) Clams fleeces someone in a trade during the season.

24) PCT has the most improved team this year.

25) Kendry Morales wins the AL MVP off a huge second half.

C:
-Ryan Hanigan gets more ABs than Devin Mesoraco this season
-Jonathan Lucroy will have a better fantasy season than Jesus Montero

Hanigan is currently ahead in ABs 249-162.
Lucroy is having a better season than Montero, but he got hurt.

quote:

1B:
-Gaby Sanchez leads the Marlins in RBI by a wide margin.
-Brandon Belt won't get more than 300 ABs for the Giants.

Not even close with Sanchez.
Belt has 299 ABs, so I missed there.

quote:

2B:
-Howard Kendrick will hit 25 homers.
-Dustin Pedroia's batting average finishes below .280

Kendrick is on pace for only 9 HR.
Pedroia is currently hitting .276

quote:

3B:
-Ryan Zimmerman hits 40 homers.
-Adrian Beltre hits less than 20 homers.

Zimmerman is on pace for 21 HR.
Beltre is on pace for 29 HR, and is already over 20.

quote:

SS:
-Alexei Ramirez hits 25 homers.
-Starlin Castro regresses this season.

Alexei is on pace for 9 HR.
Castro's stats this year are on pace to be better than last year in HR, RBI, and SB, but worse in R and AVG. He certainly hasn't regressed.

quote:

OF:
-Shin Soo Choo becomes a top 5 fantasy OF.
-Ben Zobrist loses playing time as the year goes on, and is no longer considered a must-start.

Choo's power numbers aren't good enough still.
Zobrist's numbers aren't as good as last year, but he's not losing playing time.

quote:

SP:
-Gio Gonzalez wins the NL Cy Young.
-CC Sabathia finishes with an ERA over 4.00 and a WHIP over 1.30.

Gio having a great season, and still has a chance to win Cy Young.
Sabathia has an ERA of 3.56 and a whip of 1.21.

quote:

RP:
-Mark Melancon leads the Red Sox in saves this season.
-Craig Kimbrel has control issues and blows 5 saves in the first month of the season.

-

Massive fricking fail.

Nailed these:

quote:

2B- Danny Espinosa finishes as a top 5 2B, going 20-20, increasing his OPS over .775

SS- Welcome back to earth Asdrubal Cabrera. He will finish outside the top 10 and not hit over 15 HRs

3B- Chris Davis, this is the year, finally. He hits over 20 HRs and drives in over 80+.

SP- Chris Sale has over 20 QS and finishes a top 25 SP.

Swung and missed on Weiters being #1 C, Upton blowing up, Granderson sucking, Matt Moore being better than David Price, and Javy Guerra.
