Benelli Blister

I get two blisters when I shoot my Benelli SBE2. Anyone else get these? Anything I can do to file down the offending parts? One is coming from the safety. The other from the serrated edge of the button that advances a shell into the chamber. Thanks, Gun Guys who may have some experience with this, or tips.
This has been happening to me for 20 years with this gun. I don't notice it much until I have a really good shoot. Or, in this case, 4 days of pounding the ducks in Alberta. By the end of the shoots each day my hand was a bloody mess. But a small price to pay.

Tape, bitch mittens, or get used to it by working up some calluses.

I wear a shooting glove only way I have found to combat the problem.

I have 3 Benellis and no clue how you're doing this.
The only blisters I've heard of with Benellis is the Benelli thumb, which happens while loading a shell into the magazine.
The safety and bolt release are just buttons. How hard are you pressing them? Maybe yours are too stiff?
There are several companies that make oversized bolt release buttons. I have the Briley one on my Córdoba.

I used to get this consistently when duck hunting, and occasionally if I was shooting 3 1/2's in wet conditions, my right middle finger would ache from the rear of the trigger guard.
Only solution I can offer is gloves.
I have a friend that just got back from Sask, had great hunts too.

I shot my Benelli in Argentina, and medical or sports tape is your friend. Just wrap the spots you know will be affected.

I got it as well with my first Benelli.
Luckily, someone at the gun club showed me how to push the shell with the front of the thumb and not the tip. 3 Benellis and I have no issues loading anymore.

Similar to the other guys I’ve never had that problem with my SBE II. Use tape or gloves if it’s a big deal. Now getting your finger pinched while loading the shell in the magazine is still an every once in a while occurrence that sucks.....
