Will we see sports respond to Vegas?

With everything being political these days, what will the sports world do in response to this shooting in Vegas?
We have a guy like Michael Bennett whining about being profiled, and the shooting last night shows exactly why cops are quick to respond. About the time people hesitate to do their job for fear of offending someone, three more lives can be lost to some nut job firing off rounds.
As these shootings happen more often, you would think that human rights, not JUST black rights would be of importance.
I bring this up, because I'm afraid it's only a matter of time before this sort of thing happens at a sporting event.

Are you just throwing a bunch of random events together and hoping something sticks?

I imagine the Vegas Golden Knights will do something. Not sure what you're looking for though.

The athletes stick together. They're kneeling for black rights. In the political climate of today, does this event get ignored, because it wasn't a specific crime against blacks, or do we see this as a bonding moment? Can we finally derail the train off of blacks for one moment, to figure out that it's everyone's rights that are being violated here...

This is not your best thread, man

So what do you want the athletes to do? Protest for gun control? Surely that's what you're looking for, right?

I would say London is safer than most places with the security they have ramped up for these events. The game in Azteca would scare the fire out of me though.
To me, it would be the NCAA games that I would worry about for something like this happening. What scares me is some idiot planning something is reading sites like these, going hey yeah.

Yeah, I'm sure the black players feel no sympathy since it was a country music concert.
That's totally how it works.

Michael Bennett is a POS and needs to be called out for his slander of the LVMPD
