A couple months ago I switched to morning workouts, but I'm still struggling to find something to eat first thing in the morning. It's usually preworkout and a Oikos Yogurt. Any other suggestions? Shakes make my stomach upset, and I usually take one post workout.

I used to do a slice of toast with peanut butter, or a bowl of oatmeal. Since doing keto I have 2 eggs and it does me just fine.

This is the biggest thing hiding me back from switching to morning workout.

I'm starting a new job and have a baby coming in August. Morning would be much more convenient, but I just feel like I won't have the energy at 5 am.

I was nervous at first, but now my body is just used to it. Also the preworkout helps out a lot, it usually kicks in right when I get to the gym.

This!

Or just sip on some amino's, you will have plenty of fuel to burn from your dinner the night before!

this is why i started my 5am workouts. i started going about 6 months before the baby came so i could get used to it. its not hard after a while.

I eat Ezekiel bread with PB and a banana w/ pre workout or swap a whole grain waffle with PB

On days I'm off work, I'll get up early and work out. Usually just drink my pwo in place of coffee and sip on bcaa's during the workout. Either eggs for breakfast after or a protein shake with whey, almond milk and a little peanut butter blended in

This is how i feel. Having a 12 month old has killed my evening workouts and now i've been really slacking. I want to start doing early morning but can't get motivated yet.

I normally workout on an empty stomach and a pre workout drink. I'll eat breakfast once I get to work. I find my workouts go better fasted than when I eat before.
