They were elected to repeal it. Even rollover republicans know that if they don't, they're gone

Yes makes sense

You need another plan before throwing away the original

This is like firing Les Miles and then getting stuck with Ed Ogre because you didn't plan ahead

If repealing it is as bad an idea as the Ds say they should be begging for Rs to repeal before 2018.

It's because you have millions of people with health care contracts.
People relying on those contracts and government subsidies to pay for them. To pull it out from under their feet could be catastrophic.
If you want to repeal it, go ahead but give people notice before you cancel their health insurance.

The Republicans better have a plan in place when they pull this thing...or there could be severe public backlash.

bullshite, they want it repealed at that point so they possibly have something to run on and nothing more. They DO NOT care about anything other that getting elected or re-elected...

Hey, the Rs have the power now.

Repeal it, or don't.

Don't act you're powerless against pushing it off for 2 years because the Ds are "forcing" you to. Your move.

Except for the fact that they have been working on it.

Those running for reelection in 2018, sure.

But asking for the Republicans to wait now (knowing they won't) illustrates the incompetence and the intent to put politics over people by the Republicans ... that's if the Republicans don't have a plan in place for the millions losing healthcare.

The Dems are trying to show the lack of care by Republicans.
And yes, millions of people entered into health insurance contracts only to have them broken by the fed government (run by the Republicans).
Even Trump is warning them not to do it.

The democrats breaking something doesn't give them license to bitch about the republicans having to fix it. The paltry number of people with insurance (that actually want it) that will have this be their last year with subsidies will pale in comparison to the deluge of people who will celebrate the death of the individual mandate.

I guess we'll have to repeal it and see what happens just like it had to be passed so we could find out what was in it.

Some of us don't want to take away health insurance from 30M individuals, resulting in the deaths of thousands, just to win an election.

Republicans don't mind, though.

On his way to Emory University, Mr.BamaAtl walked by a homeless man and did not put money in his cup, which resulted in the man starving to death.

Is that a fair statement?

Healthcare enrollment is completed for 2017, those contracts can't be changed. Any changes that Congress makes right now would not go into effect until we sign up for the 2018 Healthcare period.

The largest homeless shelter in the city is across the street from my hospital, and they will even provide you a meal when daddy pulls your funding.
