How much do you think liability insurance runs for your average sized theme park

They won't carry it.. Cheaper to litigate than to insure sadly.

I would say self-insured for at least 5 mill. Prob a general liability policy on top for another 5 then excess coverage.

The volume of slip and fall claims they would have to fight each policy period would be insane. Their retention would be super high and the policy would have to be written through a lloyds syndicate or something super specialized. If I owned an insurance company I'd stay the hell away

All of this. A theme park would probably be one constant lawsuit for one reason or another. Add in the fact that if one person gets hurt on a rollercoaster (even if its not the park's fault) it blows up on every media outlet.

I bet it's pretty profitable to be their lawyer on an hourly rate.

Yeah it's probably some super high deductible where they are essentially self insuring all the small and bullshite claims, but they might have something in place for a catastrophe
