I'm doing a beer trade with a friend in Chicago. Is there anything I should request outside of Three Floyd's and Pipe works offerings?

Revolution and Half Acre if you're limiting it to just breweries in Chicago.

ETA: Goose Island brewpub on Clybourn typically has shite we aren't gonna get down here.

The anchors to my trade are ghost and dr. Hoptagon. Anything y'all would recommend I send outside of those? I'm not a huge beer guy and want to make sure I send the best of what our region has to offer.

Here's what I would do. Bell's beer is not actually from Chicago, but Kalamazoo, MI, and is available in IL. Even though it's supposedly going to be distributed here starting in May, I'd still be like, "Hey dude, score me some Bell's".

and unless he is going to hand bottle it from a glass you still aren't getting it down there. They don't fill growlers with one offs if they fill them at all.

3 Floyds is all you should be asking for. I like Half Acre stuff but not enough to pay shipping for it. We get Pipeworks here in Denver and I never buy it.

According to their social media bottle releases happen. Depends on the type of individual he's trading with.

Night stalker and big john aren't getting anywhere near the south.

Arctic panzer wolf and alpha king are available on craftbeertemple.com right now.

Thanks for the responses. I'm not a big enough aficionado at this point to know what is good from what areas. I just know what I like from around here.

He is going to try to track down some zombie dust for me though. But I'm not holding out hope for that one as I know that one is difficult to get.

Let me offer this little tidbit of advice then... you won't find anything in Chicago as good as Ghost.

3 Floyd's, Great Lakes and Pipeworks will be on the shelf. Half Acre Daisy Cutter is a solid IPA and worth getting. I'll add Off Color to the mix. Dino S'mores is fricking excellent and some of their Saisons are very good too. Goose Clybourn will fill growlers but much of the stuff on tap is pretty pedestrian.
