I was introduced to Citadelle Gin this past weekend. I highly recommend it to gin drinkers out there.

What's the flavor profile like?

I am a gin fan and, being a traditionalist too, I believe that a martini can only be made with gin(unlike some of the heathen on this board).

Ummm.

It tastes good. Sorry, I'm not that much of a sophisticate.

Very smooth. It didn't have much of a bite at all, so if you like that, this might not be your style. I was sipping it straight and really liked it that way.

Don't know. I got it at Total Wine in Dallas. It was not outrageously expensive either. $21 for 750ml. $35 for a handle I think.

Vodka martinis? Is there such a thing?

Anyone tried Austin Reserve? I was gifted a bottle when they sponsored an event I worked. Super smooth and light on the juniper, which I dig.

I'm not into really strong, piney gins, I like ones I can drink on the rocks. Hendricks fits but even it's strong on the floral side. This one's nice and mellow.

I like Kettle One martinis...just a little dirty...with blue cheese stuffed olives.

Haters gonna hate.

I like Tito's dirty martini & the non-heavy with juniper gin just might be OK to my taste.

I ain't gonna lie, there's something about the pine tree taste that Tanqueray provides that has me only drinking it. hard to explain I suppose.
