Heading down to Belle Chasse this evening. Looking for a close local restaurant to get some good eats. Go!

Put Belle Chase in your title.

Yeah, they sell out of meat some days as early as 5 on some days.
Lil G's and Salvos are pretty good.

If you're going further down the road, Capt Larry's and Lil' Lee's are also good.

Also known as Pick-a-sack or the Conoco station, etc.
I work in that are sometimes so I stop their quite a bit. Place is basically a small restaurant attached to a gas station and is damn good.
Two or three daily specials that are all good and a regular menu.
They have been killing it with the shutdowns happening at P66. Doubled the size of the restaruant recently and still full on many days.
Not sure if they are open at night though.

The 2 best places close to Belle Chasse are Zydeco and Sun Ray Grill. Both on Belle Chasse Hwy but on the Gretna side of the bridge.

Salvo's is my pick
Could go for a cone from the Dairy Dip right about now though.

Not a huge fan of this place and it will packed out the arse because they have crawfish. Much better options in the area but if you don't want to cross the bridge Salvo's would be good. Again, just expect the wait to be in the parking lot.

There's a catfish house just past the district courthouse complex on Belle Chasse HWY. Can't recall the name but man it was good.

I am not a fan of Lil Gs and Zydecos. Salvos has always been decent when I didn't want to go further into the city.
Good to know crawfish are around stopping in for a few days tonight to let my new daughter see family on the way to a wedding in Houston.

Adams catfish, but good luck being there when it's open. Most random times ever.

Salvos.
I haven't been in 10+ years so not sure if it's still good but I would drive across the ccc to get a roast beef.
