Caveman style is putting the meat directly on the coals rather than on the grill grates.
IMO the trick is making sure the bed of coal is white hot.....stir around to get the ash off & then put the meat on. The bigger pieces of charcoal will fall off when you turn it.
45 seconds per side, them wrap in heavy duty foil for 15 minutes......came out a perfect rare-medium rare. You can google and find lots of info....I found on the BGE forum.
