Granted LSU should have won the game, but coaching was not the reason LSU lost. Missed opportunities by players not making the plays, bad officiating, and just bad luck cost LSU the victory. Too many people are throwing Les Miles under the bus for the loss. Saban is supposed to be the best coach in the country, but he "apparently" did a terrible job for 59 1/2 minutes of coaching his hand picked great team using his great coaching system. The fact is he was "lucky" again and the refs helped him out. Again. Its often better to be more lucky than good. Geaux Tigers.

No way. Saban is the Tiger Rant's favorite coach. They would have just changed the narrative to "Miles should have won by MOAR points!!!11"

criticism would be: why can't we recruit good kickers?

AND bad coaching...... How about some better QB play. That's on Miles for not letting his QB do what he does best... What does that say about the QB situation at LSU....

TERRIBLE JOB???? He brought a team that has struggled on the road and played even with LSU.... Hostile environment.. I don't call that terrible...

Doesn't Miles have a GREAT hand-picked talented team??????

How was Bama lucky??? They played better when it mattered most due to an LSU mistake... Sorry. its the truth..........

And LSU has been LUCKY way more than just one time....

Saban gets criticized when his teams shite the bed. He just wins more than anyone else.

I don't value classes... The players are only as good as you develop them once in college... I am also not a fan of who was put in charge of putting "stars" on players.... Miles has had great classes but what Saban has done with HIS classes seem to be better than what Miles has done with his... Look at the QB position... Miles has FAILED BIGTIME at getting a qb that can do anymore than hand the ball off.......

Much worse criticism from AL fans if Saban had lost that game.

The quicker we stop talking about Bama's Coach, the better.

It wouldn't be the same level of criticism, but there were some mutterings after the Ole Miss loss. Crazy to say it, but one seriously down year-meaning three or more losses-and the Gumps will be on the warpath, his track record notwithstanding.
