Werner Turf on Airline is where I've bought quite a bit. I've bought from Jimstone on Florida before as well. I prefer Werner but that depends on what you are looking for.

They both have mason sand. And I know Werner will deliver. Not sure about Jimstone but I'd imagine they do as well.

I need to level some spots in my yard so I will probably just ebd up buying a yard and having them drop it in the back of my truck.

Cleggs has river silt which I like better for leveling. It has a bit of dirt in it and works very well. I'd recommend it instead of sand. It packs well too. Cost about the same.

I was originally going to use the river silt, but then started thinking about dealing with the seeds and weeds in there.
I still might use that instead though.

I think the stuff Clegg's sells is treated to kill the seeds...

Seeds and weeds where? In river silt? Never seen it or had a problem with it.

Jim stone on the northshore uses lumber companies trucks for delivery, so assuming they will. There's a good place in nola that sells flagstone/penn blue stone if you can't find any in BR.
Geomesh under the mason (fine)sand to keep the weeds and roots from growing. Perhaps use some polymeric sand for the joints if you don't use mortar. If you do use mortar, i'd use the type S. it's a bit stronger(more portland) and will last longer. Both ways will keep the weeds away. g'luck

I agree on the sand for the stone. I was responding to leveling some spots in the yard for the river silt.

Thanks Martini and Wick. I will grab a load of silt this weekend.
