My bad. Didn't see the other thread. I just didn't think we should be posting names.

You need to think about it. It's part of the grieving process. To do otherwise is only to delay it. If he had a wife or kids, go help/do something for them. That'll give you a way to honor your friend and help them. Men cry. Just not over pain or women. Just bro's and dogs. And their favorite team losing. And perhap's at the end of Rudy or Ole Yeller. Or when McDonalds shelves the McRib.
Condolences and prayers for your friend and his family.

MF was one of those guys that you instantly liked. Full of life and just a great guy to be around.
There are a lot of devastated people right now in Baton Rouge over the loss of this great guy.
Find those people and share their grief. Let them help you deal with your shared devastation.

I met Mike one Sunday playing volleyball and eveytime I seen him since he would walk up to me, shake my hand, and have a conversation with me like we had been friends forever. I don't think I ever lost a volleyball game with Jessie on my team, he could do everything. I didn't know them well, but what I did know of them made it tough when I heard the news about there passing. RIP young men

Own your emotions. It's ok to be devastated, and to grieve. If I were you, I would go home, unless work is a welcome distraction.

I feel your pain my friend. Found out yesterday that a good friend died of an overdose yesterday morning. I was in the same boat this morning, sitting at work crying. Only advice I can offer is stay strong, remember good memories, and put it in God's hands. Sorry to hear of your lost.
