Scanning the TE and I can see a cheap season for me in the future.

I was thinking about buying season tickets this year on the secondary market, but after scanning the Ticket Exchange I have thought twice.
There are more season tickets for sale now than I have seen in 5 years. I'll probably wait till each individual game and pay face (actual face) or less.
So, does anybody have any good reason to make me change my mind?

Not really. Kind of a crappy home schedule this year. But you won't pay face for the Bama game.

I expect that. Hell, I wouldn't even be upset if the Bama game was the only one I didn't go to seeing as that one will probably be primetime CBS.

With the way season ticket holders have been bitching, you'll probably get them all for less than face except Bama pretty easily. Unless Miss State or Ole Miss is highly ranked by the time we play them...but who am I kidding?

I almost sold mine this year. Found a buddy to buy 2 of 4 so I decided to keep them. Schedule is shitty and I'm in that "young kids, watching the game at home sounds good" phase. Then August rolls around and I can't imagine not being there for the big ones

I bought on a game by game basis last year and got tickets to every game for much below face except A&M. Hell I got free tickets to several. It comes out much cheaper doing game by game. Plus if you have something come up you don't have to be hassled to sell them or find someone to give them to.

Nah, likely they'll make sure that one is on the SEC Network!

I won't try and change your mind. I paid $600 for season tickets in the secondary market in 2012. Here's my game to game estimates I'll pay this year.
Sam Houston State- $20
ULM- $20
Miss St.- $50 (at most)
New Mexico St. - $20
Kentucky - $50 (at most)
All of the above games are conservative estimates and I actually expect to find free tickets to all of them.
Ole Miss - $50-$100
Bama - $100-$300
So even at a worst case scenario, I'm thinking I will pay $560 for the home slate. A best case scenario will cost about $150. I'll likely end up paying around $350.

Seems legit. And that's with no rainy games.
I paid $1400 last year for a pair of season tickets and could have gotten away with paying around $700.

The flip side is some people like having tickets in hand before they leave home. If you're young and dont mind wheelin and dealin in the street it is waaaay cheaper your way.

What does "young" got to do with it? Its just cheaper, easier, and generally can pick whatever you want. And if you buy west uppers, you can get into the north section if you desire the bowl for whatever reason.
Unless I had amazing season ticket seats, I don't see the justification in having them, outside of indirectly donating to the Ole Alma Mater of course.
Hopefully the schedule changes to make season tickets worth it.

1. Money going to LSU
2. Location is with/near people I like and/or friends & family
3. Convenience factor of knowing I don't have to search for tickets each week

Not me. Why spend all that $$$ just to watch 1/2 game?

This is why I will either buy tickets in the lower bowl or nothing at all. I cant justify paying 1300+ for 2 tickets in the nose bleeds with the schedule that we play at home since we started giving Texas all our good games. And that doesn't even include the stupid parking fees.

I do it for the convenience and to donate.
Also the more tickets you need, the harder it is to find on campus.
