I've eaten at the one in Nashville. It's a good steak. I probably wouldn't go back on my own dime though.

Haven't been in years, and was never my favorite. I think it's somewhere in the middle of the pack of old chain steakhouses.

Dont know about Arlington. Nashvillle's downtown Mortons is good. New Orleans is not good. Downtown San Diego is horrible.

Awful.

ETA: The location in NOLA specifically. Was the most underwhelming meal I can remember. The steaks at Ruth's are much better IMO, and don't carry as high a price tag.

The atmosphere was great, as were the cocktails, but the food completely ruined any desire I would ever have to go back.

The one in Biloxi was good, not great. For the price I'd prefer Ruth's Chris.

BTW - Landrys now owns Mortons, this may have something to do with it.

I mean the food wasn't "bad." It was just nowhere near what one would expect for the price point. I had the cajun ribeye, and my wife had the filet with shrimp and scallops. Neither steak was anything better than decent, and at that price I expect better than decent.

The seafood items were good though, so I guess add those to the atmosphere and drinks. That shouldn't be the highlight of a meal at a pricey steakhouse.

Exactly, and that's not good considering it's an upper scale steakhouse...which is why I've always stuck with Ruth's and I'm going to continue to stick with Ruth's.

Ate at the one in downtown ATL, prefer Flemings over Morton's
