Any places in the fore mentioned areas have oysters on the half shell specials daily or certain days of the week?

They sell them by the sack there. Next store they have good prices on the half shell. Cheap beer too. I want to say $10 gets you a draft beer and a dozen.

Cheap, sure, but not the best I've had in terms of quality. I'd rather do Luke. Those are the only two places I've done them on special, so I don't have too much to offer.

I had decent oysters there once. They other two times were the worst oysters I've ever had. I'm a R month person too.

Fishermans cove doesn't sell by the sack. They give you a box of quarter oysters from bayou la batre. The ones the restaurant uses are different for sure. FWIW I think the best oysters are at siethers in harahan. Pretty much everything there is quality.

Must be something new. It's possible they charge by the dozen but you can get a sack. It a seafood market.

Does Seithers do a special on oysters?

I've only been once but would hit them up after work if they had a deal.
