Why isn't there a TD app? Everyone who knows and loves TD should be able to do so from their smart phones. Computers are waving goodbye in many workplaces and homes...

HELP!

Well suggest something a TD app would do that TD Mobile doesn't do already.

I can't wait until a significant portion of major-traffic websites start rolling out these famed 'mobile websites' that are designed to format to the size of the screen in your hand!

There are a lot of features that could be useful:

notify you when someone quotes you or posts a reply to your post
using your phone to select pick em or edit them at the last minute
make it easy to load pictures directly from cell phone to TD

I would happily buy an app that eliminated the ads. I'm not adjusting well to the ones on the mobile. I keep clicking on them by accident which annoys me.

I prefer to use the full TD on my phone rather than the mobile.

Use the photobucket app. Your pictures aren't hosted on here.

That's really not a bad idea actually.

I doubt it's realistic though. I suspect Chicken is aware how much traffic (from a pure pages-loaded and ads-seen, thus revenue created) on this site comes from "regulars" who post a lot. Most of them - let's say there are 2,000 at the most - would buy the app, and then there is no more revenue from them forever. If you keep it how it is, those same people will continually bring you revenue; probably a lot more in the long run considering how often some people post here.

This leads us to the conclusion that IF there were an app, it would probably still have ads. Seems redundant with the mobile version being very good. There would be no point.

You'll get over it.
