I emulated Sonic Adventure 2: Battle today. Mostly for the Chao Garden stuff, but man, I really didn't expect it to hold up so well. I'm getting caught in the story when it wasn't even the reason I downloaded it. The graphics held up, especially for a sonic series game. The gameplay is still fun. It's actually a nice relief from the cookie cutter stuff coming out now.

Dude that game was the shite.

This board is bringing back some great Gamecube memories lately.

HOURS of my childhood were spent 100%'ing this game. The multiplayer with my brother was fun as hell, too.

Mario games hold up incredibly well. I popped in Mario galaxy the other day and it was a still a blast to play.

YES. I spent way to many hours in the Chao gardens. That shite was addicting. I took all the chaos I didn't like and put them in Chao Hell.

Wind Waker. I just played it (for the first time) this past December. It turned 10 in December and I was shocked to discover it was so old. Emulated at 1080p with anti-aliasing, it looks outstanding.

When Nintendo announced the HD remake and showed off screenshots, I was thinking that there is no need to remake the models. Just upscale it to 1080p and give it AA. It looks amazing as is.

This. The game still looks great. I was playing it with my kids just a few days ago.

It's not even in my top 10 Mario games, despite so many people claiming it's the best of the series, but Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island's crayon inspired art style looks good to this day.

I also think the original Sonic the Hedgehog looks excellent. The checker board pattererned rock and artificial, angular palm tree leaves give you the feeling the natural world is being taken over by technology.

I'm quietly really excited for the new Yoshi's Island game. They got rid of the black outlines so it looks a little different, but aside from that it is a very similar art style. Yoshi's Island was a super fun game.

It's actually much better than the remake they released last year. The graphics are about what you'd expect from a 94 dos game, but the gameplay is still great.

I didn't even know it was created for 3DS. I need one of those in the worst way. There are so many good games for that system.
