Restaurants in Boston, Niagara Falls, & Buffalo

My wife and I are visiting these cities next week and looking for any recommendations on restaurants. We have a reservation at Top of the Hub in Boston for her birthday evening, but we're also looking for good, local non-tourist trap places.
Are there any places that you enjoyed and would try again?
ETA: One thing I would like to try is lobster. If there's a place that has decent lobster without outrageous prices, that would be nice. Every menu says market price, so I don't know how each restaurant compares

Neptune Oyster in Boston. Located in the North End.
Wellfleet oysters and hot lobster roll with butter.

Preface this with I'm from Buffalo, went to Niagara University and vacationed on Cape Cod every summer
Every restaurant in Niagara Falls is touristy, go into Lewiston its an adorable village and eat at Brickyard - order the dry-rub wings!
In Buffalo - Definitely go to the Anchor Bar like someone mentioned, some argue that Duffs' wings are better but I'm still partial to Anchor Bar. Also, Pearl Street Grill and Brewery is good - order a "Beef on Weck".
If you find a candy store in the Buffalo area buy some "Sponge Candy".
In Boston, can't go wrong with anything in the North End. Lobster rolls are great but I tend to think the scallop rolls are even better!

Heading to Boston today so this is helpful. I am staying in the Seaport District, which seems easily accessible to North End.

Faneuil Hall downtown Boston - is the old central business Market has a big/huge food court in the basement.
Lots of eats
Yes it is tourist, but if you can't find something everyone wants to eat there, then it can't be done.
Do yourself a favor and get a Lobster Roll when you see one.
Legal seafood has the best chowder you could want and every other kind of seafood too. They would be my go to sit down to eat Lobster place.

I've heard mixed things about Union Oyster House. Some say its touristy and average food. Some say its really good and we should try it.

You can sit down there too? The website looks like you take it home and cook it. What should I expect to pay for a lobster meal for 2?

I'd look for some local, North End Italian...something we missed. I'd consider asking local, maybe the concierge where you stay.
As for Union, it is what it is...a historic building and business...it at tracks people. The raw bar was great and the chowder was addicting.

I just came from Boston, the places mentioned are fine, but I found the italian food there to be my favorite. Take a cab to Hanover St, block after block of Italian restaurants and bakeries. I had a braised veal shank with white beans at Bricco that was one of the best dishes of my life.

When facing union oyster house, to the left is bell in hand tavern, i believe it self proclaims to be the oldest tavern in the us (and also has my favorite chowder)
Behind it there is usually a farmers/fishermans market where you can get fresh shucked oysters very cheap.

It is a sit down restaurant. They are all over Boston

Just call and they will tell you the market price.
Total bill depends on how hungry you are.
People talk about "chicken lobsters" which are the most common and cheapest. They average less than a pound. They will be pretty much the same wherever you go up there as long as the restaurant isn't too fancy.

Thanks. When I was searching, I kept seeing that restaurant, but I couldn't find a menu.
