Yaeah but ND absolutely spanked a USC trojan team on the road. I mean it was like a one score game against USC's backup QB and the team is coached by Kiffiin and they lost to 7 loss Ga Tech, but I mean, hey, that is quite an impressive win. Not to mention their domination of Pitt and BYU

Right

When your big test is a team that gets dominated by Ga Tech in a bowl game, that pretty much says it all.

What was Bama's best regular season win?

Hell, why not say Oregon vs A&M? If we're throwing out records, throw them all out right?

According to Skip Bayless, A&M should have been playing Bama last night

Probably LSU

But they had to play UGA in the championship game to make it

They lose and UGA is in the BCS and they're in the Capital One Bowl

Thank God ole Les Miles chose Metty boy over TB. LSU would've maybe had a shot at beating UF this year.....

Would've probably had more than 42 rushing yards as well

Wrong, Notre Dame's best win was against the Pac-12 Champion, the team Oregon couldn't beat at home.

Oregon wouldve been stomped by Bama as well. Stanford and Florida would have given them a good game

Florida would not have scored against Bama.

I agree with this. The difference is last year's Bama team was better than this year's.

LSU was perhaps a player and an offensive scheme worth half a frick from being capable of winning, and in fact, won that game 2 months earlier.

ND might have been a busload of players from being capable of winning that game last night versus an inferior Bama team. The talent gap is startling even when you knew it was coming.

This is pretty much spot on

People are forgetting that the 2011 team was better than this one

Again, are you just ignoring the Stanford and Oklahoma wins for the sake of your argument?

And you have to take into consideration that the majority of cfb wanted ou in orangebowl. Your entire argument
Is based on hindsight and a subjective view of a teams athletic abilities regardlessof their results . The current system sucks but they did all they could.

Lsu lost to Clemson, so using your logic that win means nothing and isn't a quality win. UGA struggled with Nebraska, a team that a 5 loss Wisconsin team hung 70 on. Again not a quality win based on your logic.
