Least headache possible would be take it to a dealer.
Obviously you are not going to get what you would if you sold it by yourself... but that takes time and you will deal with some idiots.

Little headache as possible=dealer. Dealer also equals smallest amount of money.
I sold a car on Craigslist once with no issues. First guy that came out, test drove it, bickered a little on price, then gave me cash anddrove off. I got about $3k more than dealer would have given me. Maybe more. Worth the little bit of hassle to me.

I sold it myself.
Dealer wanted to give me half its actual value so I kept it and sold it for its true value.

How old is the truck?
I got extremely lucky when I sold mine. I sold it 6 months after I bought it cash (09 Silverado Crew Cab 2 wheel drive with cover with 7,900 miles on it for 24k.)
Traded it in for 25k at the dealer, got a brand new Malibu LT for 19k.
Most other dealers offered between 22 and 23. Around the same price for the car.
They listed it on their site for 27,500ish with 18,000 miles on it. I'm sure they dealt somewhere in the 26's.

Probably could have sold for 25 through craigslist but it would have taken a long time.

Dealer offered my wife $3500 on trade in. We listed her car for $9000 and sold it for $8500 in less than a week.
Getting off of work in the evening and finding a notary and filling out the paperwork was a slight hassle due to some problems problems with the purchaser. (car was for the son who lived here, but Mom was buying the car and lived out of state). Still it was definitely worth the extra cash.

whatever you do dont sell to a dealer, i tried to sell my tahoe which is valued at 10,000 in perfect condition.... they offered me 3,500 and said no one wants SUV's because of the gas price. just a heads up

Try Carmax, they buy any used car and you do not have to buy a car from them. From what I have hear, they give very fair deals when buying, because they also sell for a good bit higher than traditional dealers may.
From a low headache standpoint, this would be a good place to start. If for nothing else, to get a baseline value of how much you might get. I believe their offers are good for 3-7 days.
