Saw these on Bourdain's No Reservations the other night. Filmed in Mozambique... These things are absolutely huge,...

They are called Giant Crayfish; however, I'd imagine they are probably more closely related to lobsters.

How many would you need to boil to feed the family

Holy shite. Those things are bigger than the lobsters in the Rosewood Grille ads at the bus stops in Vegas.

I might thread em on kebobs.

Looks like the creature in Alien that attaches itself to your face.

I've seen how this ends. I think I'll pass on these things.

All I know is I'd purge them. Check the OB. There are guys that catch lobsters that big in the gulf.

They are spiny lobsters I'm pretty sure. They can be found all over the Caribbean and even S. Florida. I've never seen any close to the size he is holding in that picture. That's

Take one, and make a pot of etouffee for twenty people. F that is bigger than Maine lobsters that are fifty years old.

That looks like a lobster. This is a giant crawfish from Tasmania (can get up to 11 lbs.)
