Ahhhh wasn't aware of that. Sort of puts you in a predicament because Frey is probably a top 4 hitter on our team right now.
Kling still needs opportunity to play, but I wouldn't start him until he escapes this drought he's in.
In fact, whenever Frey is cleared to play a position I would consider him at the leadoff spot. Bingham has been okay, but would like to try Frey there as well.

I think it’s way too early to hit the panic button, but I do think adjustments need to be made.
Me? None. I'm just a fan who likes to watch. CJJ will figure it out or he won't. He's the head coach who gets paid handsomely for making the decisions.

We definitely have lineup/pitching issues that won't go away overnight.
I think we show some fight, at times. But, I also sense some fatigue from such a tough early slate. The competition level may not have been there but the volume was there. You see a little bit of this each season through the SEC schedule, but the teams usually get re-energized down the stretch.
I don't know what to expect now. I don't know if the lineup issues will begin to correct themselves. We really don't have a surefire way to turn it around overnight. It will take small adjustments and improvements that compound into the whole. I don't know if they'll get re-energized (or energized in time or for long enough, as this is very early to be beat down).
I do totally believe that this team has the talent level to win SEC series, to be a host, and to make it to Omaha. It just doesn't look right at the moment. I know Jay is working on it, but maybe he needs to just simplify the whole process to keep from overthinking.
