When you eat out, do you know what iced tea you are drinking?

Are certain brands better than others? I'm expanding soon and adding tea, and I'm not a tea drinker. I'm trying to see if there are preferences or if it is all the same. Community, Luzianne, River Roads, something else.
Thanks for the feedback.

does not matter as long as it's unsweetened

I would imagine most people couldn’t tell the difference

I like River Road tea and coffee. Luzianne iced tea is good too.

whoever gives you the best pricing. They all taste pretty much the same (which is good, all three are good teas)
honestly if i ran a restaurant the Non-alcoholic beverage choices would be water, iced tea and lemonade, period. and i'd put up a big sign making it clear that soft drinks are not served, and "you're welcome"

I have not had even a decent tea in a restaurant in so long i would not even begin to know how to answer.

yes tea brands are much different just like coffee
from very mild to stand up a spoon in, so they can be all over the place
i rather the black tea over green tea or other types
just boil the water first, then turn off heat and drop in the tea bags
DO NOT BOIL THE TEA BAGS or it scorches the tea and makes it very bitter

I don't know what the Chinese places use but that shite's always good. Feels like I've seen those Luzianne dispensers in there...idk.

All the brands you listed make a good unsweetened tea..
The only time I pay attention is at self serve places and will NOT drink Gold Peak (machine where you can change the flavors). That shite is gross. I feel like this is only a self service thing and most restaurants don't use those because tea is so cheap to make.

I haven’t ordered an ice tea in a restaurant in 20 plus years.

As long as it's fresh brewed, I cannot tell the difference. Though I do notice some places have better tea than others, but I've never investigated what tea they each use.

I would say offer both sweetened and unsweetened tea options.
There are people like my wife who will like to make a half-n-half, at place like Zoe's or Newk's, where you serve your own tea, and can make it half sweet and half unsweet.
ETA: make this an option if not self serve and it would only come from the kitchen

We use River Road tea and our customers love it. Great local company too.

I can't tell one brand from another at restaurants. At home, I make iced tea using jasmine green tea. It's good. You get this at a lot of vietnamese restaurants.

Luzianne tastes flatter than Community.

unsweetened Iced Tea is horrible. I have no idea what people drink that nasty shite
McDonalds gave me unsweetened Iced Tea once instead of a coke at the drive thru and I thought I was going to be sick when I took a sip
Ruined the rest of my day

I just order unsweetened with a wedge of lemon and use the sweetener at the table to sweeten it just a little. I find most places that provide sweetened tea tend to over-sweeten it for my taste as I've never really liked "Southern Sweet Tea" that tastes more like syrup than tea.
At home I make my tea using Luzianne or Lipton tea bags for making iced tea and for hot tea I use individual bags of Twinings in several different flavors with my favorite being Chai Tea.
