And communism would be great, if it actually worked.
This is such a stupid analogy it hurts.
Since peer review is foundational to the scientific method and communism is a political and economic system that had poor results in the best of circumstances.

The titles of those papers pretty much sum up where we are as a country:
All four published in "peer reviewed" publications.

Human Reactions to Rape Culture and Queer Performativity at Urban Dog Parks in Portland, Oregon

Who Are They to Judge? Overcoming Anthropometry and a Framework for Fat Bodybuilding

Going in Through the Back Door: Challenging Straight Male Homohysteria and Transphobia through Receptive Penetrative Sex Toy Use
quote:
An Ethnography of Breastaurant Masculinity: Themes of Objectification, Sexual Conquest, Male Control, and Masculine Toughness in a Sexually Objectifying Restaurant
All four published in "peer reviewed" publications.

But it's becoming far more common for "peer review" to not actually be reviewed, just rubber stamped if it checks the correct buzzword blocks.

My ex and I both had the VID over New Years.
I took the vaccine recently, she did not.
She’s been to the hospital twice in three days since contracting a second time. I’ve been working and playing beach volleyball.
That neurosurgeon gave her bad advice so far.

We were told, when the vaccines were being developed, that this was all to protect the most vulnerable, the elderly with at least two major chronic diseases. Now we learn that in fact the number one victim of the vaccines is indeed these very same people. The average age of death linked to the vaccines was 74.3 years. The frightening difference between the vaccine damage is that far more young people are being damaged and killed by the vaccine than the actual virus itself.

To get a perspective on the enormity of this vaccine disaster, a comparison of the deaths from the flu vaccine demonstrates that a total of 750 people died from flu vaccine complications over a 30-year period. In just six months, since the release of these vaccines, 9,049 people have died from Covid-19 vaccine complications.

Those clearly weren't actually reviewed though.
This one is transcendent.
The thing is, actual peer review can end up ridiculous the other way sometimes too. I follow a lot of meteorologist PhDs on Twitter, and every month or two some reviewer two is rejecting a paper and telling the Prof to go read the Prof's previous research.
Shame the frick out of the trash that publishes trash they don't read but I assure you there are many serious scientists out there doing serious reviews of work.

In just six months, since the release of these vaccines, 9,049 people have died from Covid-19 vaccine complications. It is also telling that a recent survey by the AAPS of 700 physicians found that almost 60% have not been fully vaccinated. Of those responding 80% said “I believed the risk of shots exceeds risk of the disease.” This survey was well over twice as large as the AMA’s which claimed that 96% of practicing physicians were fully vaccinated. Half of Fauci’s own staff have not been fully vaccinated. Dr. Robert Malone, the person who invented the mRNA vaccine technology, now warns people not to take the vaccine because of its inherent dangers.

Off his fricking rocker. He thinks GMO foods kill people and he was one of the folks who preached that MSG was dangerous (it's just a version of table salt).
He's a loon cricket.
But msg, while delicious and safe, isn't like table salt.

Aspartame
I looked into it once. At that time 10 years ago, aspartame was the most researched food additive of all time. It probably still is. It has been the scapegoat of every poorly explained medical condition out there, and yet has survived this intense scrutiny. It has not ever been proven to be unsafe for human consumption in normal amounts. Drink up.

Great link, he is in agreement with my oilfield sales guy and my chiropractor. A consensus is building.
