I'm here to present my opinion, just like you are. The OP asked a question, I answered it. You not liking that answer doesn't make it a troll. Any adult understands that.

I support this.

If you can't handle strangers hating what you worship, stick to Facebook or Instagram where everyone is your friend.
God is no different than the Ford Mustang. If you start a thread praising him/it, people will shite on it.

His question:

So this leads to the obvious question, how is it possible this seemingly unremarkable man has had such a lasting and transformative influence on the world?

Your answer:

Myth

With zero insight into what makes you think that.

And you're not trolling? Yeah ok

Any adult can see you are.

There’s also billions that believe just the opposite

Whether or not you believe in the divinity of Jesus of Nazareth, what cannot be denied is He is unquestionably the most influential human that has ever lived. No one before or since Him has changed the world or had a bigger impact on the world. And here we are over 2,000 years past his crucifixion and his influence is still global.

But the most amazing part of it all is that He was born of dirt poor Jewish parents, never traveled more than 200 miles from where He was born, never held high office, never wrote a book, never conquered anything or even commanded an army. And in his 33 year lifespan His ministry was only 3 years long. When he was crucified the only possessions He had in this world were the clothes on His back. Looking at the life of Christ from a logical standpoint, there is nothing about His life that should lead to Him being remembered in history at all. But yet, somehow His life changed and shaped the world for the past two thousand years plus with billions of people across the globe putting their faith in this 33 year old Jewish carpenter who lived two millennia ago. Even if you don’t accept the idea that Jesus of Nazareth was who He claimed to be that is nothing short of astounding. So this leads to the obvious question, how is it possible this seemingly unremarkable man has had such a lasting and transformative influence on the world?

That’s a lot of words that mean nothing to 60% of the world’s population

How did Muhammad become so big? Buddha? When people become poster boys for a religion they tend to have a following.

But that’s just it, Jesus was not a poster boy for anything. When he was crucified his followers had all abandoned Him. The authorities were openly hostile to his teachings, and expressing any faith in His teachings would lead to persecution and even death. From a logical worldly viewpoint after the crucifixion of Christ nobody had anything to gain from continuing to follow Him and everything to lose. So why did they do it? Why didn’t the teachings of Christ die with Him on the cross?

quote:

Add onto the fact that Europe was heavily Christian and they went off spred their ideas and beliefs all around the world you can kind of see why

Dude, no one in Europe knew who Jesus was at the time of His crucifixion. It would not be for several years when Paul began his mission trips to Macedonia and later Rome that Europe even heard the name Jesus. And it would not be for another couple centuries when it was safe in Europe to be a Christian.

Because our god is a living God. No other religion has a resurrected, living God. The stone was rolled away (Luke 24:2)

But it means everything to at least 60% of the people that see it here. What’s your point?
