I'll tell you what. I'll gladly take those season tickets off your hand and take the chance that this might happen to me every 5-10 years

to tigerinstaugustine! you hit the nail right on the head. Wife said considering the circumstances that this probably wouldn't be a good time. I have family in New Iberia so please keep them in your prayers

while i don't totally agree with the original poster, the ones who truly should be subject to scorn are the people who feel the need to respond with childish name calling and personal attacks on a fellow tiger fan who expressed an opinion based on disappointment in missing the game.

i can have some empathy for the fact that the six hour change disrupts plans and causes folks to miss the game -- and all other tiger fans should as well.

i mean, why can't we just say to another tiger fan "yeah, sorry they changed the game and it does suck for plans....the tickets do say time subject to change...so it's unlikely LSU will refund".

for what it's worth, one nice alternative MIGHT be for LSU to offer to swap any unused APPY State tix for tix to one of our other OOC games.

You can get them outside the stadium. Fill up the ice chest and get on the road!!!!

Right, because LSU has an abundance of tickets to swap out. All of the games are sold out or nearly sold out already. How would they do this? It's not feasible.

The original poster struck a nerve with people here because he/she put his/her own interest above the more important matter here...that alot of people stand to lose most of their personal property, while others will likely lose their lives. He deserved the criticism he got, although I do agree that the personal attacks may be a bit much.

there will be leftover tix for north texas for sure, and probably for troy and tulane.

seems like every year, the week before the game they sell discounted tix for some of these low end OOC.

still, this was just an IDEA.

the main point, however, was that the immature attacks were uncalled for and reflect poorly on the LSU fanbase.

Will anyone give a reason why LSU should not offer people who don't attend a chance to get their money back. Or should everyone get drunk and drive to and from the game because it sounds cool.

As the other posters have said, we're just happy that they're getting the game in. I hope that we are as lucky next weekend as well.

Now, if they had cancelled the game, or moved it to the opposing teams field, THEN I would expect a refund (although they don't do "refunds", per se, they credit your account for next season). 2005 was way fricked up with Karita. I hope that we avoid a repeat.

Damn, dude. I hope that you didn't smoke your entire stash on that 14 drive down here. You're goind to need something to mellow you out a little after they get through removing your team from the field with shovels and mops.

BTW, is that a Mountain or a runaway mullet on the back of the dudes head on your logo? Can't tell, and either would be appropriate.

Some of our LSU Lone Star State fans need to toughen up.

When this Hurricane hits, many of its victims will have a lot more to worry about than not getting their moneys worth of tail-gateing.
