Did the prosecution just object to her own question?

She objected to the answer being non responsive

She asked "He didn't want to go to the hospital correct?

Her answer was "the whole time we were having trouble understanding him"

She objected the answer was non-responsive to the question and asked her to specifically answer the question about if he wanted to go to the hospital. If she didn't know, then the proper answer would have been "I dont know"

Yeah she was ripping through those very nervously. Very different than Nelson's typically very calm and relaxed cross examinations the last two weeks.

I don't think these were particularly helpful witnesses for the defense.

Neither do I as it kinda backfired somewhat.

Jury could see it as this is Floyds MO or that he does have a high tolerance.

I will say Floyd's actions were almost identical.

Pretty much all of the Judges major rulings have gone to the state.

The full body cam shows him screaming for “mama” and acting like a fricking idiot but the judge didn’t let it in

The judge has gone out of his way not to allow any testimony that shows Floyd as the POS thug he was.

IF Chauvin is found guilty there are plenty of reasons already for an appeal. Which makes me wonder if this is the plan to appease the rioters. While the nation is watching they find him guilty then a year down the road the verdict is reversed on appeal while the nation is focused elsewhere.

I get that because Floyd isn't on trial so his past criminal history shouldn't play a factor. BUT if Chauvin, et al, knew about that criminal history as they were trying to arrest him then I think it does play a factor because it would affect their interaction with him and perhaps not believing him when he said he couldn't breathe. Just seems harmful to the defense to not allow the entire video.

I see your point and don't disagree, but it's a sad state of affairs that the judicial system has to be manipulated like that to appease the "masses"

Chauvin and Floyd were both bouncers at the same club at the same time period. Now I don't know if they worked thr same shows or even knew each other but...

Look at that eyeroll/scoffing in response to the overruling of the prosecution's objection.
