If Livingston and Ascension were to fight a war, which would win?
Also, in the event that war doesn't break out.... which one is the better suburb?

Livingston would likely win the war. I think the nicer parts of AP are better places to live though. Not necessarily a knock on LP. They are just more affluent.

Tough call... roughly the same population, but I'm going to have to go with Ascension because I think they are going to put up a more unified front. Donaldsonville might not want any, but the rest of the Parish population is pretty centralized. I don't know that places like Springfield and Albany are going to come rushing to Denham's aid.

Ascension would win but it would be a tougher fight than most realize. Gun ownership in both parishes is sky high but Ascension is much more educated AND they have guns. Livingston would come in guns ablazin and would steam roll until Ascension realizes Livingston can be outsmarted pretty easily. Half the Livingston forces would be strung out on meth and Ascension could use its own meth population to bait them into a central location using old copper pipes and used furniture on the side of the roads. When half the Livingston army falls for the distraction, boom - they're dead. Then the Ascension forces take out our own meth population while they're busy going through the pockets of the dead Livingston meth army.
AP lives to fight another day, gets rid of the meth problem plaguing the entire AP/Livingston area, and annexes Bass Pro so we have more access to weaponry for the next time Livingston wants some.

doesn't AP have way more ppl and money?
it might be a war of attrition. sacrifice all the leased qx80's and DSLD homes for the cause and you may have a stalemate vs the poorer, more strategic/ berzerker LP methtigers

Someone one told me that the reason everyone in LP is all fricked up is because when that area was still owned by Florida it was a site for a prison and when Louisiana bought it, they let out all the prisoners and they all settled there so its just in their blood in LP..
As I type that out, I realize how ridiculous that sounds...
And the person who told me that probably was just making shite up.

I think it's also fair to take into consideration which one has more Hispanics.
The legal ones will want to align with their new homeland. (and they wont even need guns) Some of the illegal ones will, too, but the Salvadorenos will not necessarily fight alongside the Nicaraguans, or Mexicans alongside Guatemalans, etc, etc. So ... there might be instability from within.
LP may have an advantage on that one ... but not by much.
