Devin White only because Michael blew out his knee. Had MB not had that severe knee injury, would not be close and that's saying everything for MB's talent and work ethic.

What Brooks did to opposing QB’s would be considered criminal these days

Forgot about Brooks ... and he was a fantastic player. Didn't hold or still hold the QC sack record at LSU?

Hard to pick one from so many different eras but I agree Devin White as the best I have ever seen at LSU.

I saw the title of the post and immediately I was logging on to say Michael Brooks.
Its tough to compare because of the different eras, but Brooks was a man amongst toddlers. I was a kid
myself.

You can’t compare decades.
60’s. Winston HOF
70’s. Capone
80’s Brooks
90’s. No one
00’s. James
10’s. White

Michael Brooks was pretty damn special.

Bradie James or Devin White come to mind immediately.

While at LSU?
Michael Brooks or Albert Richardson, in either order
Everybody else is vying for 3rd

This was going to be my answer. Another running back converted to linebacker.

Devin or B James
Brady James is one of my favorite Tigers ever. For him to go through the personal tragedies of losing both parents during the 2000 season and stay with the team, winning the defensive MVP for the Peach Bowl shows a character that few have. That's the heart of a Tiger.
But, he wasn't better than Devon White or Michael Brooks.

Devin White it ain’t even close. That dude was a freak!! He was like the honey badger the way he flew to the ball but had twice the size. Loved watching him. Plus he’s a cowboy on the side. That shits cool

P Queen was incredible the last five or so games of ‘19.
Edit: if you are just stating a fact, i wont argue, but i assume you are saying he is the answer to the OP.

As bad a man as Devin White was for us, you youngins need to research Brooks. Devin was a step faster than Brooks, but brooks was 10 times meaner. Devin white is a nice guy, Brooks was literally wanting to murder you during the tackle.

The Answer is Mike Brooks. Anyone that didn't see him play in person has NO idea how dominant he was.
