Don't fill up on the garlic bread.

I run into that problem with the Lawrence bread

Their pasta dishes are kind of average but they have great specials and obviously the bread.
For that’s that don’t know, you can get it to go and they bag the loaf with cups of the olive mix. Just throw it in the over for 5 minutes and it’s ready. We grab a few loafs for big family meals

I think their steaks are one of the better steak deals in town

I enjoy it most of the time
Bread is a hit every time
house salad is great
Eggplant Parm is great when it is done right
usually have some great off the menu fish dishes, but the ones on the menu are just okay
great steaks

Does that old grumpy broad Wanda still run the front of house?

I've never had a bad meal there and the wife has always had a bad meal there. So I offer no help

My favorite veal parmigiana in town and, along with the crack bread, my go to when I’m there.

It's okay. I've been a couple of times and had veal piccata. It was all right but not worth the price but the bread was good. Gino's is exponentially better imo.

Great bread, pretty good food, but overpriced. It’s not bad, but there are better Italian restaurants in its price point

I’ve only been to the Airline Hwy location recently. How does it compare with downtown?

I enjoyed The steak I got There. Well cooked and good seasoning.

I got a meal that was still partially frozen at the downtown location.

It’s just ok to me. Like other have said, bread is good, salads are pretty decent, and the specials can be good sometimes. With that said, I would take Gino’s 10/10 times.
