Definitely. I went down the street to the ATM and paid the $2 fee to get out cash and eat at this place.

Just tried TBE today, had a pastor taco, and split a to-go order of combo fajitas(camaron/pollo/asada) for dinner. It was all very good, and similar to La Tiendita and La Reyna in fare, portion, and quality. Told the lady at the counter that Afreaux aka Damon & the DJs in Lafayette sent me.
Just got back from Vegas, where I had Baja Fresh and Rubio's fish tacos almost daily, enjoyed them better than the high-end Wynn fare, regardless of price.

What time did you go?

I was there with friends an hour later.
The chick in the red shirt wouldn't recognize the name Afreaux obviously, but everyone that works there knows who I am. Had the chicken burrito (awesome once again), friends had tacos. Interesting because I've never seen a taco shop with such diversity of patrons, I'm wondering if it's relative to its location. When we were eating there were a few black guys, white guys, some Mexicans and a Korean dude.

Drove to T&BE for lunch today around noon. It was pretty empty, which made for Express service. Got the chicken king burrito and a drink, and the total came to $7.07. CC machine still down, but I had cash.
There have been some comparisons to Izzo's in this thread, and I eat there a lot, so I'll compare them directly.
The salsa was excellent. It seemed fresh and had great flavor. Much better than Izzo's.
I'm not a rice or beans fan, so I didn't get either on my burrito. The size seemed comparable to an Izzo's regular. I guess I'm used to a full Izzo's burrito, because this one seemed a little lacking. There wasn't as much chicken as I was led to believe based on other posts in this thread. There was as much lettuce as chicken, and the tomato and sour cream were sparse. I didn't leave hungry, but I could have eaten more.
I guess I just prefer chunks of chicken breast as opposed to shredded chicken. Different strokes. The burrito was also rolled to where one side was all chicken and the other side was all lettuce. I can't stand that. It's a pet peeve of mine.
I think the ingredients at Izzo's seem fresher to me. I love their pico de gallo and fresh jalepenos are a must for me. T&BE had neither.
So color me a little disappointed. I'll probably try them again to see how other things stack up. But I'll wait until I'm on that side of town instead of making a special trip.
As always, your mileage may vary.

FYI - Taco and Burrito Express has been accepting credit cards, hadn't been there in a while until today, but they're good to go.
Food was awesome tonight, was surprised at how many people were ordering through the drive through window. They added aguas frescas to the menu, including freshly made pineapple, horchata and canteloupe drinks.

How is this place really? Since we moved here a few months ago I have been looking for a great hole in the wall mexican place that serves good margarittas (and inexpensive is a plus).
Tried Las Palmas, and La Casa something or another on coursey, near the post office & the place on Flanney & Choctaw.

There's not much to try there. They only just opened today, and the only thing available were three types of tacos. The tacos were good, but not great.
Tuesday they'll supposedly have more menu items, as well as bakery items (which weren't available today). A lot of what they offered was identical to what the other taco shops had, the difference is that these guys will be open at 7:30 in the morning serving breakfast.
I'll probably go back this weekend to try a few other items off of the menu.
