Anyone had Testosterone pellets?

I’m getting the procedure done this week, excited about the potential benefits. Mainly having more energy and sleeping better at night. But I do lift weights 3-4 days a week, just curious if anyone saw an increase in lean mass that’s done the hormone replacement.....or any other positive benefits as well

Is that where they implant something that slowly releases T over time?

Yes, 8 pellets in the rear. Last about 6 months

Gonna have lumpy butt?

I've never used them, but if you're low in testosterone, coming up to normal levels should (in conjunction with training) increase muscle.
The caveat is that real TRT isn't designed to be like the TRT athletes claim when they get busted. Essentially, you should have better capacity to build mass, but not what people associate with steroids.
Even if you optimize testosterone for muscle growth for age, there are other parts of the equation that degrade over time, so you won't be 22-25 years old in terms of full muscle potential.

I’ve seen them put in. Have fun!

Gonna correct you on this one, truthfully you should only be building muscle the same as those with normal testosterone levels in your age group.
Small correction, but you should be in the top half of the range for your age group, not someone much younger. This is where problems tend to happen.

Hopefully you don't take offense

None taken. I'm not on TRT, and my knowledge is mainly from others. Expertise is appreciated.
The majority of my knowledge was don't expect supraphysiological test levels on real TRT. I didn't know it was graduated by age so much. Modified my post to not steer people wrong.
The point I (likely poorly) tried to make is more about how TRT isn't juicing and you shouldn't enter into it hoping for results people associate with bodybuilders using test.

No you made your point clearly, I just wanted to point that out because so many expect to be in the 1000-1250 range which is the very top for all males. But at 45 years old you shouldn't want to have those levels, like you mentioned other mechanisms have downgraded and having that much test is going to cause other health issues over the long haul.
Like you said, trt is a medical treatment for a legit condition, not juicing or something you do for a while then get off. It's a life long choice essentially.

Btw, everyone thinks trt is so cool and wants to be on it.....wait five years and see if you have the same opinion.
I rotate sites religiously, yet I crunch thru scar tissue almost every shot. shite sucks after years of doing it.

I'm coming up on 39 and I've wondered about it. I look at the "is your T declining?" signs and a lot of them fit.
I can see the appeal. Mid-late 30's, I could feel things slow down a bit, and it would be nice to feel like I did when I was younger, especially having athletic goals.
I haven't even had a testosterone test, so no clue. I think the "feel young" gets seductive when you're realizing you ain't so young any more.

I've gotten them several times over the last couple of years. More energy, strength does increase and body fat decreases some. Haven't had them in over a year and will probably be getting them again soon.
Have to be careful working out afterwards, I recommend taking a week off. Especially if it is any kind of lift that makes you use your muscles down there. They can come out. Not all but some.

Why not just take a small dose of Clomid?

I’ve had pellets inserted several times over many years. You’re probably getting testopel. Eight pellets will deliver a conservative dose. My personal experience with 8-9 pellets is they work well for a month or two then wear off quickly. Then you don’t feel as good until you can get them again. Eight pellets would get me to 650-700. You need to get blood work about a month after the procedure to check your levels. Once the T builds up in your system after a week or so, you can climb walls with your penis. The benefit of pellets is you don’t have to dose daily or weekly. In my opinion and experience, six months between pellets insertion is too long. For me 3 to 4 months was better. The procedure is quick and easy. If this is your first time, there will be soreness in the Insertion area. The more times you get them, the easier it gets. I quit getting pellets when my health insurance stopped covering them. I’ve also been on injections and gel. Injections are better for regulating the dose. Bi-weekly shots work great for me. I thought I would hate the gel, but I loved it. A downside to the gel is it’s very expensive for a relatively small supply, and insurance won’t cover it, at least mine won’t. More directly to your question, it will help with results from workouts and recovery, but the dose is very conservative and won’t be a game changer.

They come out at the site they are put in. It is quite weird. It happened to me after squatting. You should take a week off from the gym to let the site close up.

Why not just take a small dose of Clomid?
I've been thinking of trying this approach. Anyone know of any good places to buy online? It's tough to trust the SARMs sites as it seems many of them sell either underdosed or completely bunk products.

I got mine from a doctor. I might be the ideal candidate for it. Don’t know. I was wary of taking a prolonged dose of something that fricked with my pituitary, but I had a bilateral varicocelectomy to repair a bilateral varicocele condition that had probably jacked up my testosterone production since my teen years. It got my T up to high normal after the procedure. The doc said there were no long term effects to taking Clomid and I could take it for as long as I wanted. But I didn’t feel good about it and I stopped. Regardless, I would get it from a doctor. It’s not overly expensive.

ive been taking them for about 2 years, injection every 6 months. you will be sore for a few days, and avoid squating ect for about 5 days.
for the person that had them pop out - did you allow the area to heal before squatting etc?
